The Looking Glass by ~Evangeleane:iconEvangeleane:

Why in this world did you feel far away?
From Laugher to anguish, you heart it did sway
You had talent and grace, but you hid your true face!
Did you not see there were people who cared?
Did you not see there was no need to be scared?
As i look in the mirror, i see pain on your face
as i look in the mirror death you embrace
Why bow down to the hate, to the lies, to the pain?
Why, oh why if love you'll not gain?
I see my reflection of your sad complexion
You're beautiful and strong, able to go long!
So why don't you see it, why don't you look!
Why hide your feelings in the cram of a nook?
Run out of the shade and step into the light
You should know by now you've finished this fight
As i look in the mirror, i see pain on your face
As i look in the mirror, death you embrace
Show yourelf to the world, proud with grace
Look in the mirror to see your sad face
But as i look in the mirror, i see someone new
As i look in the mirror, i see beautiful you

This is an old poem of mine.
I entered it into a poetry contest and the judges liked it so much they had it published!
I wrote this two years ago out of shear boredom haha!

Boredom never ceases to produce works of beauty and foolishness.
This is a work of beauty thankfully.
-_-
Though I have seen some people who produce foolishness without boredom's assistance! :omfg:
