softly sofly, it hums it's melody
like a child's first cry it sounds out life
it whistles through the beauty and debree
it plays it's chord for you and me
thick as wood yet sharp like a knife
it moves the water stirs up inside
invisible that it is though you see through it's glide
it whirls and sings, shouts and stings
can you see it, can you feel it?
can you smell it, can you taste it?
It brought new things
and life it still brings
her footsteps are shadows above the lurky earth
soft enough to brush the child's hair
strong enough to bring the mountains air
it may sing, it may howl
it may smile, it may scowl
you feel her in everyway
it cools you on a hot humid day
from the oceans below, to the heavens it descends
anyone may hear, feel, taste yet not touch
the miracle of winds....
